Just a short drive east past the San Juan border into Loíza, La Posita is a long, shallow beach enclosed by a massive natural wall of blowout rock. The rock barrier completely blocks the Atlantic surf, creating a wide, calm saltwater pool that stays crystal clear. It sits directly across the road from Piñones' iconic open-air kioskos, making it easy to grab fresh alcapurrias or bacalaítos between swims.
Lively local hangout inside a natural rock pool.
